Dr. Neopolitan was appointed to the Mahoning Valley Sanitary District Board in May of 2018 by Mayor Steven Mientkiewiez. Dr. Neopolitan is serving his second three-year term which will expire in May of 2024. He serves on the Board’s personnel subcommittee.

Education

 

Dr. Neopolitan graduated in 1983 from South Range High School in North Lima, Ohio. He went on to further his education at DeVry University in Columbus, Ohio from 1986 to 1988 where he earned an Associate Degree. He then moved to St. Louis, Missouri and started a construction company called Bush and Neopolitan Construction Company, Inc. from 1992-1999.

 

After moving back to Niles, Ohio in 1999-2002 he again furthered his education by attending Youngstown State University (YSU) and gained the pre-requisites needed to attend dental school. He attended Dental School at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine from 2002-2006.  Dr. Neopolitan upon earning his Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD) degree joined the practice with his father-in law Dr. James Skiffey Jr. in Niles, Ohio.

 

Community Service

Dr. Neopolitan is active in his community with such events as the Harry Stevens Hot Dog Day Festival, he is in charge of the weiner dog race and dog costume contest; and the Warren Italian Festival where he serves as a wine judge.
