75th Anninversary Open-House

The Mahoning Valley Sanitary District ("MVSD") celebrated 75 years of providing water to the Mahoning Valley on September 29, 2007 by inviting children, ages 13 and under, for a ONE-TIME ADVENTURE. The children were permitted to fish at the Meander Reservoir. The Reservoir has never before been open to fishing and the children had an exciting day. Plant Tours were available to the public as well. The adults who took the tour were permitted to enter a lottery for an Adult Fishing Day. Fifty names were drawn for the adult fishing day. Approximately 800 people took the tour and about 1,000 showed up for fishing!
